Girls Night!

Sweet little nephew is due any day now! So we decided to go out for a girls night before he decided to show his face to the world :)
We started the night out shopping! Sister needed some necessities from Motherhood Maternity, and we grabbed dinner at the mall food court.

Then we went to play BINGO! And let me tell you the stigma that only little old ladies play BINGO is silly! It's fun!

We had actually been talking about going for awhile, so we decided now was the perfect time!

Isn't she just adorable! Doesn't look like she's about to pop at all ;)

This is the pic I chose for this weeks photo challenge. The theme is Ups & Downs, and playing BINGO is full of ups and downs! First you are up because you are close to getting a BINGO, then you are down because someone else got one first.

We didn't win anything, but we had a great time! We will definitely go back! You know, once mommy can bear the thought of being away from baby ;)

Happy 4th Birthday Conner

Today sweet little Conner Makoa turned 4! Which means 4 years ago I was taught by this adorable tiny baby that not all children are evil ;)
This year for his birthday trip I took him to the Dallas Museum of Art.

He's a little artist :)

When he saw the Eiffel Tower he got very excited and said, "Hey that's from Ratatouille!"

Also, when we saw a painting of George Washington he said he was from money. Pretty smart little guy.

After we ate lunch at the museum we went across the street to the new city park Dallas built over the highway. This pic was my photo challenge pic last week. The theme was Something new :)

Conner loved running up and down the stairs in this "Tree House".

It is really a neat little park! Next time we will take a change of clothes so he can play in the little stream & fountains they built in!

After a day of playing I took him to the grocery store before I returned him to his rightful owners ;)

He told me, "We should buy mommy flowers, it will make her feel good" Who could say no to that?!

Today was Conner's birthday party!

It was a great birthday party! Conner had a great time running around his new house with all his friends! Happy birthday Conner Makoa! Bo & Patrick love you!

The Cure

This week's theme for the photo challenge is It's a Movie.

The movie title I chose was "The Cure", I've never seen the movie, but the title went well with my week. I have been under the weather, and have been pumping my body full of vitamins, hot tea, homemade cough syrup, and off brand Theraflu. Let me tell you, that homemade cough syrup will kick anything out of your system, but it's gross!

Today was my sister's sister's daughter's first birthday party! Are you still with me? ;)

It was an adorable Tangled themed party, & I didn't get any pics of the decor : /

Except for my pic this week for the photo challenge! The theme is look down, and they had balloons covering the floor for the kids :) it was a huge hit!!! 

I did get pics of the most important part of a 1 yr olds birthday!
