Baby Lanier

Today Hubby & I got to meet the newest member of Tim & Cassie's family :)

Baby Lanier, born 2-26-13 9lb 14oz & about 20in. She's adorable! And she was wide awake while we were there, very inquisitive. i was amazed to get open eyed pics from a new born! As you can see in my lap we brought her a stuffed R2D2 :) She's getting an early start on her nerdom to be like daddy ;)
Congrats Tim & Cassie! She's beautiful & we love ya'll!

Adventure Photo

This week's Photo Challenge theme is Adventure. I had a couple of ideas for this theme, but Hubby & I are dog sitting for his mom so I decided to take a pic of one of her dogs out in her back yard exploring...

Well as you can see that is not what I got a pic of. Brindie just wanted to follow me around the back yard begging to be loved on & Mercy didn't even want to go in the back yard, she just wanted to sleep lol. So this is one of Brindie's squeaky toys having an adventure in the back yard :)

Photo Challenge Love

This weeks photo challenge theme is Love.

This is hanging in the hallway outside our bedroom. I made it a couple of years ago at Mosaic Madness in Waxahachie celebrating my sister's birthday :) We had a great time! And now I have a great wall hanging! Have you ever done mosaic? It is VERY time consuming! But great to do with friends :)

A Reminder to Love

Valentine's Day, a day to remember to love.
Yesterday it came to me that Valentine's Day is alot like Thanksgiving (without the massive overeating), are we supposed to be thankful all the time? Yes, but is it still good to have that yearly reminder? Yes :)
Well we are also supposed to love all the time, and today is our yearly reminder! So as you go about today spread love, and let it be a reminder for the rest of the year to love :)

Happy Birthday Elias!

Today is Elias' 2nd birthday! As you can read about in that link, he was a micro preemie. We are so happy to be celebrating the birth & life of this healthy little boy!

Can you believe that this tiny 1 lb 12 oz baby is now...

 2!!!

and he loved the tissue paper :)

He had a great time at his party today! Happy Birthday Elias! Bo loves you!

Greyhounds

This weeks theme for Picture of the week is Grey. I am a pet sitter & while walking these 2 adorable miniature GREYhounds I decided they would be my subjects this week :)

 This is the pic I chose as my pic of the week.

 

 I considered converting it to black & white to more fit the theme grey, but I think it's interesting that their name does not match their coloring.

 Aren't they the cutest :) It looks like she is laughing!

Super Bowl Commercials

I shared my favorite Super Bowl commercials with you last year, because obviously the commercials are the reason to watch the Super Bowl! That is until the Cowboys make it back in :)
This year however, I was disappointed. I feel as though the advertisers lost their touch this time around, and that makes me sad. In my opinion there were no outstanding commercials. There were a few that make me smile, so those will be the ones I share with you today, and hopefully next year they will get their groove back.
Doritos - Made me smile when the goat screamed at the sight of the empty pantry.
Big Bang Theory - I just love Big Bang Theory!
Century 21 - He made everyone happy
Budlight Voodoo Dolls & Lucky Chair - I did enjoy the messing with "fans who will do whatever it takes"
NFL Network - I love this commercial because Deion Sanders is one of the Cowboys I grew up loving!
Tide - Her last line caught me off guard & made me laugh

And the deep commercial of the year in my opinion was Dodge - God made a farmer
