My Baby

Our Baby is in Heaven.

Psalm 127:3-5a Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them...

Our Arrow has already hit it's target.
We were able to share some very special memories with our Baby during it's short life. I am truly grateful for the amount of time we had with our Arrow.
We found out we were pregnant on my 31st birthday! Baby & I ate Pho & went shopping at Hong Kong Market with my Sister's & the kids to celebrate!
The next day we told everyone about Baby at my birthday party! We have a very loved child :)
Daddy & Oma took us to a TobyMac concert! We had a such a great time!
We walked a 5k with Nanny, Aunt Jamie, Uncle Craig, & Daddy. Anything for chocolate right?!
We met Santa! He was very happy to hear about Baby's first Christmas!
Mommy & Daddy took Baby to see 2 movies! The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2, and Star Wars Force Awakens (I think Baby liked Mockingjay more, but don't tell Daddy)
Daddy's Christmas gift to Mommy & Baby :)
and Baby's Christmas gifts from both of us. We had a wonderful celebration of Jesus' Birthday with our Baby!
11 weeks, we had 11 wonderful weeks to spend with our Baby! We love you! Mommy & Daddy can't wait to see you and hold you!

Christmas Tamales

Did you know that Christmas Tamales are a thing? How did I grow up in TX & not know about this?! It seemed this year all my FB friends were talking about their Christmas tamales, which made this pregnant girl need some tamales!!
The day after Christmas Hubby took me to his favorite place to get tamales, Dallas Tortilla Factory :) We walked in & the lady behind the counter was telling her customer they only had beef tamales left. Then it was our turn, and she told us she had one dozen beef tamales left! All my FB friends must have cleared them out ;)
So we took the last dozen tamales (sorry to the ladies who walked into the store as we were leaving!). They were just what Baby ordered! Goodness they were good! We will be going back to try other flavors! If you are in the market for good tamales & don't have a little grandma in your family who makes them, then I recommend trying these! Just maybe not the day after Christmas!
