Baseball Baby Shower

Sunday we threw a baseball baby shower for my nephew!!!
My brother & sister are huge Texas Ranger fans! And my brother also loves the Texas Longhorns!
My sister's sister came up with some of the cutest decorations!!!
The due date is Oct 7, this "score board" is for everyone to guess what day nephew will be here! My guess was Sept 29th! I will let you know (screaming from the roof top) once he is here!
Baseball munchies!
Popcorn, veggie tray, chips & my brother's amazing hatch chile salsa...
Peanuts, fruit salad, sugar free whole wheat strawberry banana muffins...
Home field fruit platter :)
And a baseball cheeseball :) this weeks theme for my photo challenge is "and then, I ate it." So I thought this was the perfect pic :)

The shower was a huge success in my humble opinion ;)
Sorry I have no adorable pics to share of my absolutely adorable sister carrying my amazing nephew! I took all those pics with their camera & didn't think to get one on my phone : / but let me assure you, she was super cute!
To make up for it I will share the recipe for my cheeseball :)
Baseball Cheeseball
2 pkg Philadelphia cream cheese (I promise no other brand works as well)
1 can large olives, sliced
6 green onions, sliced
1 sm can chopped green chiles
1 container whipped cream cheese
Red bell pepper sliced in small slivers to make the baseball stitching
Assorted crackers

Thoroughly mix together 2 pkg cream cheese, olives, green onions, & green chiles. Form into a ball & place on serving platter. Spread whipped cream cheese over the whole ball to make the outside completely white. Them place the bell pepper slices in a baseball stitching formation over the top. Serve with crackers.

I can't wait to meet this little baseball loving boy! :)

  1. All those preparations you did are awesome dear and that food is looking just mouth watering. Well, I also need to plan a baby shower for my sister who is due in April. But I am not sure about throwing the party at home so, can you help me with a good event space out there.

    1. Thank you very much, but I couldn't have done it without both my sister's help!
As far as event spaces go, I would recommend contacting your local parks and rec dept about renting a rec center. Good luck!
