Ghost has dog allergies! We were treating what I thought was ringworm, & it wasn't going away. So I took him to the vet. The vet said they were lesions. He's allergic to chicken, which is what both his food & treats were! He's also allergic to grass, sensitive to the sun (only I would get a dog that hates the outdoors), and he's allergic to his plastic water bowl!
I wanted to post this because the vet told me that white pit bulls are very prone to allergies, their beautiful pink skin is very sensitive. So this is a PSA: if you share your home with a white pit bull, or are considering getting one, please take him/her to the vet & see if he/she has any allergies! That way you don't have to wait til they start forming lesions from their food :(
Ghost is feeling much better since our trip to the vet, he got a shot to calm down the allergies & we bought him salmon based food & treats, and gave him a stainless steel water bowl.
